From the moment you enter Comfort Zone you will be impressed by the forward helm, stylish open-plan layout, the quality furnishings and the overall homely feel of the vessel.
With brand new carpets and LED lighting throughout, the living zone offers a spacious open plan lounge with striking red modular couch, television and new stereo system whilst the dedicated dining area provides a large 6-person dining setting. A new reverse cycle split-system airconditioner, plus separate gas heater provides year-round comfort. The well-appointed U shape kitchen with underbench storage, gas cooktop, full size fridge and microwave oven completes the open-plan area.
Featuring 3 bedrooms, the master is complete with an ensuite bathroom and each bedroom has a brand-new split system airconditioner and ceiling fan. Each bedroom also has access to the outside of the boat, via a glass sliding door. The spacious main bathroom offers a shower with glass screen, vanity unit and toilet. Both bathrooms have been recently renovated with new cabinetry, hardware and toilet cisterns replaced with new low-water volume units.
One of the highlights of any houseboat is its outdoor entertaining space, and Comfort Zone certainly does not disappoint. The expansive entertainer's top deck is easily accessed via stairs (not a ladder) and provides the perfect setting for relaxing, entertaining and taking in the ever-changing river scenery. To ensure this fantastic outdoor area can be enjoyed in all weather conditions, a Bimini cover was installed in September 2022. The spacious front deck is complete with a new barbecue whilst the rear deck offers an intimate spot to relax and enjoy the river views while also offering convenient river access for swimming.
Extended stays on the river are well catered for with a recently installed 7.0 KVA Honda EU70i fuel injected petrol generator providing reliable power when required. An upgraded solar and battery system was also installed in September 2025 making it ideal for longer periods away from shore-based activities. The upgraded solar system comprising a new 4000W Hybrid Inverter, including a 100amp battery charger, 120amp MPPT solar controller. 13 solar panels - 12 charging house battery system, and 1 charging the engine starting battery. Additionally, there is a separate Victron battery charger for engine battery.
Comfort Zone is powered by a new 90HP Mercury Big Foot high-thrust outboard motor (25 engine hours) with high torque 4 blade propellor, new instruments, and wiring and offers a generous 400-litre fuel capacity.
The helm has also been upgraded with a new instrument panel, incorporating a depth sounder, weather system and security cameras. A Starlink mobile satellite system provides Wi-Fi throughout the boat and also supports the vessel's security system.
